2026 McNair-SSS Research Conference

The 33rd Annual SAEOPP McNair/SSS Scholars Research Conference is designed to attract undergraduate and graduate students from all TRIO programs within the U.S. and the Trust Territories. The conference will provide opportunities for young scholars to share their research, provide exposure to the key issues in research and higher education, facilitate the interaction between graduate school representatives, graduate faculty, McNair, and SSS scholars, and provide forums for discussion of intellectual issues. Whether you’ve been analyzing data in the lab or conducting deep dives into social trends, we want to see the impact of your work. Presenting at SAEOPP isn’t just about the competition; it’s about refining your professional voice, networking with fellow scholars, and boosting your academic CV.

August 2026 – Hybrid (Online & On-Site)- Priority 1 Training: Evaluation, Recordkeeping and Reporting Student/Project Performance

This Priority provides TRIO employees with specific tools regarding Evaluation, Recordkeeping, and Reporting Student/Project Performance.

This event will take place over three days – August 4-6, 2026. This will be a hybrid event, hosted on-site in New Orleans, LA.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT YOU CAN ONLY REGISTER FOR ONE TRAINING PER PRIORITY WITHIN FY 2025-26, REGARDLESS OF THE VENUE AND THE TRAINING GRANTEE!!

In-person and wait list registrations for this training are currently full and not available. Virtual registration for the training will remain open until the event begins.

Previously registered wait list registrants will be contacted by May 15th if space is available. DO NOT make travel plans until you are contacted by SAEOPP Center Staff indicating that you have been moved from the waiting list to in-person. You will be notified prior to moving you from the waiting list to the attendee list, and you must confirm that you are committed to attending the event in-person before you will be moved.
